We have recently submitted an outline planning application for the redevelopment of this 20 acre industrial site, the site is allocated in the adopted Local Plan as an employment site. The proposed redevelopment of the site for employment use will produce over 270,000sqft of new industrial units to accommodate B1 ( E(g)), B2 and B8 uses. The substantial proposed increase in job numbers and available floorspace will meet numerous policy objectives at both the local and national level in terms of economic growth, reusing previously developed land, encouraging small and medium-sized enterprises and helping the economy recover from the devasting effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
